On December 14, 2021, the School-Enterprise Cooperation Exchange Meeting and the Inaugural Meeting of the School-Enterprise Cooperation Council of the College of New Materials and New Energy (Integrated Circuits) was successfully held in C-5 Teaching Building 109. President Professor Ruan Shuangchen, academician of Canadian Academy of Engineering, professor Liu Qingxia, dean of Julong College, Professor Zhai Jianpeng, dean of graduate school, Professor Wu Xu, director of the Department of Scientific Research and School-Enterprise Cooperation, Professor He Zhendan, dean of the School of Pharmacy, and more than 100 teachers and students of the School of New Materials and New Energy attended the meeting. The relevant responsible persons of nearly 40 enterprises such as BYD, Chow Tai Fook, Jufei Optoelectronics, TCL Huarui, Zhouming Technology, and Maijie Microelectronics were invited to attend the meeting.


         

Principal Ruan Shuangchen introduced the development of the school. He said that education should not only face the world, face the future, face modernization, but also face the locality and serve the development of the region. Shenzhen University of Technology is the third local university in Shenzhen. It is an undergraduate public university with high starting point, high level and high standard construction in Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City. It is positioned in a high-level application-oriented development model. At the same time, taking the major universities of applied technology in Germany as an example, it explains the huge role of school-enterprise cooperation in promoting the development of high-tech. Shenzhen University of Technology is committed to cultivating high-quality applied talents with international vision, craftsmanship and innovation and entrepreneurship ability at the undergraduate level and above, and strives to build a world-class applied technology university.

         

Subsequently, Professor Han Peigang, Dean of the College of New Materials and New Energy, gave a detailed introduction from the construction of the college's infrastructure platform, the education model to the innovative spirit of teachers and students, inviting the governing unit enterprises to gather on the banks of the Pingshan River and Julong Mountain to enhance understanding, strengthen cooperation, promote the normalization of school-enterprise cooperation, promote the rapid industrialization of scientific research results, and inject new thinking and motivation into the future industry-university cooperation and collaborative education.




The guests spoke freely from the perspective of their own enterprise industry.

Dr. Chen Shou, president of Shenzhen New Materials Industry Association and chairman of Shenzhen Tongsan Lixing Technology Group Co., Ltd., said that materials are the foundation of major manufacturing industries. Since the national "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" proposed to vigorously develop the new energy industry, new materials and new energy have become national key development projects, major industry associations should be established, the concept of innovation to promote the development of science and technology is becoming more and more mature, and the school-enterprise cooperation training model is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

Professor Liu Jianhong, chairman of Shenzhen Benzheng Equation Graphene Technology Co., Ltd., as a firm practitioner of school-enterprise cooperation, talked about his own entrepreneurial experience, surging emotions. He said that school-enterprise cooperation not only allows students to have a deeper understanding of the knowledge of the major, but also uses cutting-edge technology and modern means to solve technical problems , injecting new strength into enterprises.

         

Dr. Gong Qing, president of BYD Academia Sinica, said with feelings, "As a witness, I expressed my admiration for the achievements of the rapid development of Shenzhen Technology University. School-enterprise cooperation is inseparable from the joint efforts of both schools and enterprises, and teachers and students of the school are welcome to go deep into the enterprise to exchange and cooperate, working together for a win-win situation."

         

Shenzhen Hewang Electric Co., Ltd. administrative director Lu Kezhao emphasized the importance of talent for the development of enterprises, he proposed that school-enterprise cooperation is not only exploration, but also talent reserves. Finally, the teacher representatives introduced the products of the college project, and the school and enterprise carried out in-depth professional exchanges.
